I am Elena and my mission will be that you know Stockholm through my eyes, as the magical city full of life that it is for me.
We will meet at the agreed time near Kungsträdgården, one of the most important parks in Stockholm, especially in summer as it is the venue for concerts and shows.
We will walk around the king's garden to reach the Opera, in a neoclassical style. Our next stop on this free tour of Stockholm will be Gustavo Adolfo Square, with a sculpture of the same name dedicated to King Gustavo II Adolfo of Sweden.
With a quick introduction to the history of Stockholm we will move to the town hall, a building that will surprise you. Considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, it is one of the few examples of the Romanesque style that Sweden has preserved.
We will continue to get to know this exciting city by discovering the Parliament or Riskdag, the Royal Palace and the Riddarhuset, a Swedish noble palace where various initiatives are carried out to keep the culture of the country alive.
During our guided tour you cannot miss a visit to the narrowest street in the city (Mårten Trotzigs Gränd), the statue of Saint George and the Dragon or the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, the oldest church in the city.
After this enriching tour we will finish the tour next to the Royal Palace.
