Guided tour through the Gamla Stan area of Stockholm. Starting from the Hemlös Räv (Rag and Bone) Scuplture on the corner of Drottningatan and Strömgatan next to the governments' office. Passing by Gustaf Adolfs torg, the opera, the parliament, the royal palace, the cathedral, the iron boy, the Saint George sculpture, the most narrow alleyway, the main square, the old town viking runestone. Including many stops explaining the history of the places and giving stories and anecdotes about them.

“Best guide in Stockholm”
Because of bad weather conditions we were the only two people in attendance, and yet Dan was as energetic and thorough as if we were a big group. You can tell he’s passionate about history, and we learned a ton of interesting things about Stockholm. I would recommend his tour to anyone visiting Stockholm for the first time, or anyone who’s curious about the history of Stockholm or Sweden in general!

“Old Stockholm walking tour - am amazing experience!”
The guide had prepared quite a lot and brought the prepared items about Stockholm with illustrations for us! It was thoroughly enjoyable. The weather was too cold for us and so, we had to request the guide to make it fast.
His local recommendations were good too.
All in all, an evening very well spent learning quite a lot of information on Stockholm!

“An interesting and educational tour”

“Pay attention!”
This tour is good for whom already knows the area and want some different kind of knowledge. The guide is polite and tells a lot of stories but doesn't show much of the touristic places. My husband and I did the walking tour to see and understand the Old Town but we didn't see much things during 2,5 hours. The guide tells a lot about the windows of the houses, about the structure of the houses, about the kind of doors...and we expected to see and know about the main places in Gamla Stan. We didn't like it and we think that we lost much time, in reality, we lost our precious time, a whole afternoon with daylight to only hear about windows and doors! So if this is your first time in the town you should not choose this tour. We got really frustrated.

A lot of history and very cold, but a great way to find out more about the old town despite the freezing weather! We appreciated how Dan made sure to always find a less windy spot to make the tour enjoyable. The most interesting story was the one about Saint Lucy's legend taken from Sicily and transformed in order to fit in Swedish local customs.

Dan was an amazing guide with a lot of interesting knowledge and facts. He is very nice and humble. Great tour! I can recommend it. 11/10
