Alex was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a wonderful sense of humor. An excellent communicator who brought us an interactive experience; he asked questions as well as gave us Viking/Scandinavian/Swedish history and lore with a flourish and a smile. “I love the storytelling”
Alex is definitely a story-teller. He chooses an angle to make history very interesting and relating: hygiene, gender, styles etc. I could not finish the first tour, so I joined again the next day and I would say it's totally worth it. On the second tour, Alex invited a little girl to interact with him, which enriched the presentation further. I also love the closing about chasing the dream. Alex loves what he is doing and he has done it well

This was only my second time participating in a walking tour through this website and it was terrific. The tour guide had a ton of energy and was pretty funny. He made the tour interesting by involving the group. The tour guide also gave information that was interesting and debunked some myths. If I came back to Stockholm with a different friend, I would bring them to this tour first.

“Alex Is The Only Viking You Need In Stockholm”
Today we had the pleasure of going on a walking tour with Viking Alex & Maid Micha.
From start to fininish it was absolutely FANTASTIC.
Alex has a real gift for story telling; sharing knowledge and as importantly, inclusion. He waited for everyone to catch up before he started each stage of the tour, which was just so lovely.
The tour was so informative, interactive and FUN! We really couldn't have asked for more.
Of note: our twin 14 year old sons use manual wheel chairs; which we pushed around the tour. Despite the cobbled streets we managed the tour. This was mainly due to Alex's patience and leadership. This was the first walking tour we have done on our Baltic Trip, where the guide has been so accommodating and understanding.
Micha was just enchanting and shared very useful knowledge.
If we could, we would give Alex. Micha and this Tour, 10 Stars!.

My two kids (15 and 13) really enjoyed this tour. Alex is an incredible storyteller who knows so much about the history of Gamla Stan and the Vikings. Despite Vikings never actually living on Gamla Stan Alex does a fantastic job weaving together how their histories intertwined with the original settlers of Gamla Stan and continue to influence Swedes today. He also seems to have a great relationship with many of the locals, and is very respectful of other tour groups, and local residents. Fantastic way to introduce ourselves to Stockholm!

“What a great experience ”
Alex was amazing. He had the whole group involved and it was fun and informative. A great day and we learned a lot. Well worth the €20 we gave, worth so much more. Alex handled a”delicate” situation with a rude “official” tour guide who barged in when we were learning about Viking rhuins. Great photo shoot at the end ????????????
