This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome! We were completely drawn into the fascinating and dramatic story of Caravaggio – not just his art, but his wild, mysterious life. What a fantastic tour! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, witty and entertaining! He kept us engaged for the entire 2 hour tour. We visited two churches to view some of Caravaggio’s earliest works and walked through areas of Rome, monumental to his life. The tour is amazingly free of charge, however tips are appreciated and definitely well earned!

He brought us closer to the atmosphere and customs, as well as the exceptionality of Caravaggio. It was super fun, interesting, entertaining and definitely something to recommend! We had a great time and Ivan is great at telling stories. If there was a follow up tour, we’d definitely do it!
