An extraordinary journey that begins at the emblematic steps of Trinità dei Monti in the Spanish Steps and the historic Spanish Embassy. We will venture towards the impressive Trevi Fountain, a true marvel of the city.
We will start our tour discovering the wonderful surroundings of the Spanish Steps and continue until we reach the Trevi Fountain, perhaps one of the most spectacular fountains in the world. We will continue our tour and cross Via Corso to reach Piazza Colonna, admire the Column of Marcus Aurelius and stop in front of the Italian Parliament. In front of this ancient palace there is an Egyptian obelisk. Our next stop will be the famous Piazza Navona, which has amazing marble fountains by Bernini and his school, as examples of Roman Baroque, with the Church of Santa Agnese in Agone. At the time of the Roman Empire, this square was the Circus-Stadium of Domitian, where chariot races were held. We will continue our visit along Via dei Coronari until we reach the Tiber River and cross the Sant'Angelo Bridge with its beautiful sculptures of angels to contemplate the Castel Sant' Angelo. Our walk will end in Piazza Pia, from where we can enjoy a wonderful view of St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, one of the most famous monuments not only in Rome, but also in the Christian and religious world.
