Things to do Jubilee Tour: Retrace the Pilgrim's Path

The Jubilee is the most significant event in the Christian world. Just as it was seven hundred years ago when the first Jubilee was declared, thousands of pilgrims, Christians, and tourists continued to flock to Rome for the remission of sins. We’ll start at Piazza Barberini, where you can admire Bernini’s stunning Triton Fountain. Next, we'll head to the iconic Trevi Fountain, where you'll uncover its rich history and captivating legends. We'll also visit the Temple of Hadrian from the 2nd century AD and the breathtaking Church of Sant’Ignazio of Loyola. Afterward, we'll explore the Church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, home to one of Michelangelo’s masterpieces and the tomb of Saint Catherine of Siena. Prepare to be awed by the Pantheon and discover the three remarkable works by Caravaggio in the Church of San Luigi dei Francesi. Finally, we’ll make our way to Piazza Navona, where you can admire masterpieces by Bernini and Borromini, the remnants of the ancient Stadium of Domitian, and hear gripping tales about Pope Sixtus V. We’ll conclude our tour at Piazza Campo de' Fiori, the site where the heretic Giordano Bruno was burned at the stake by order of the Pope.
