In addition to the basics -- on-time, professional -- Simone was entertaining and empathetic. One of the group members was tired after a long day of walking around and, at each stop, he made sure to find an area where that person could sit down and rest. Appreciated the content and how the stories about the "dark side of Rome" were contextualized in their era while maintaining a critical lens from today's perspective. Not overly preachy, not overly dramatized, just the right amount of serious and fun. Highly recommend !

Our guide was fantastic: knowledgeable, engaging, and great at storytelling with perfect English. We wandered through hidden alleys and lesser-known piazzas, hearing chilling tales of witches, ancient executions, and eerie Roman legends that most guidebooks never mention.
The pace was perfect—not too fast, and with enough time to soak in the atmosphere at each stop. The stories are spooky but not over-the-top, making it a great choice even if you're not usually into ghost tours. Plus, the tour operates on a “pay-what-you-like” basis, which makes it accessible for everyone.

A really small downside for us as non-native English speakers: Our guide talked with a little accent, which was a little hard to follow at some points. But nevertheless we enjoyed the the tour very much and still get 90%-ish of the stories :)
