I did the Ghost & Legends Tour in Rome tonight and it was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. Our guide, Ivan, was absolutely exceptional from start to finish.
He has that perfect balance of knowledge, charisma, and humour that instantly pulls you into the stories. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. His personality is warm, engaging, and incredibly entertaining — the kind of guide who makes you feel like you’re walking through history with a friend, not listening to a script.
What really stood out was how effortlessly he blended:
• Dark historical facts ????
• Local legends & folklore ????
• Rome’s hidden secrets and spooky corners ????
• Light, witty humour that kept everyone smiling ????
He made the whole group feel included, always checking we were okay, making sure everyone could hear, and keeping the energy high throughout the tour. His storytelling was vivid and dramatic — he created atmosphere without ever going over the top. You could genuinely picture the events he described.
He brought us to places I never would’ve found on my own, and each stop came with a story better than the last. By the end, everyone was talking about how amazing he was.
Ivan truly made Rome come alive at night.

Had a blast with Ivan on this tour. Loved the stories he told and especially the way he told it. He was funny, very easy to understand and made me feel confortable immediately. The tour gives a whole other dimension to Rome because just a ‘regular’ building turns out to have a very unique story behind it. Would highly recommend it if you visit Rome!

“Fun but short”
The guide was very nice and interesting but the tour was very short in terms and there were not that many stories. Bit the stories were unique and a great way to get to know a completly different part of Rome. For a free tour however we talked quite a lot about the money and I disaprove of the Organisation behind the tour. You can't really advertise free tour and then take parts of the Tips we give to the guide. Also it was impossible to book for my groupsize. So guide 5 Stars. Website 1 Star.

Leonardo was super friendly and a great tour guide and story teller! We were a family of 4 with a 15yr old and 12yr old, who have said this was the highlight of our whole trip around Italy! Amazing tour that allows you to go off script and hear hidden stories about Rome.
Our tour guide Leonardo was lovely, very knowledgeable about history combined with a good dose of humour.
10/10 would recommend to anyone that wants something different from the popular tourist attractions!
