It was absolutely amazing, Joey took us through alleys and little unknown streets to show us places that I’d never seen before, giving us so much information and answering any questions we had. Joey is so funny too, always engaging and making sure everyone is having a good time. The only thing I regret is not having the time to do another tour with him. 10/10 recommend!

“Great experience”

This tour was one of the best we had in Rome, and Europe as matter of fact. Going through churches in this city is like entering a new museum every time, while walking through the beautiful streets. You really do understand the history and context of the city by entering into the churches. The guide, Joey, was great and kept us fascinated thrghout the 2:30h of the tour. Highly recommend it.

“An absolute must-visit”

This excursion is the absolute must-have while being in Rome. I rarely write feedbacks to anything, but not in this case, so exciting was the tour! Highly recommend to take the tour with charismatic Joey, who is so enthusiastic, active, with deep knowledge of the topic, and eager to share his knowledge and discoveries about the city with you in a very vivid manner. The tour is not about the church and religion (of course, these topics are also covered, but from the other point of view). It shows so many interesting details, tricks in the architecture, and reveals brilliant sense of humour of well-known artists and architects. After the tour our favourite city has become even more attractive, during the walks we have started noticing fancy details around the city.

“Wonderful Exploring all the churches ”

My partner and I had a wonderful time on this tour with Joey he showed us some hidden jems in Rome as well as the star pieces from Caravaggio. I’m an art lover myself and thought the tour was really insightful. Where is my partner was new to Baroque art and he also thoroughly enjoyed learning about the artists and their lives. Also loved the list of recommendations Joey gave us at the end of the tour very handy if you are just at the beginning of your trip!

“The best tour by far in Rome! ”

The churches of Rome- a journey to the Baroque art was nothing but the best which gave me an insight afterwards for my other visits including the Vatican museum and other churches. Joey was knowledgeable and he knows what he is talking about. “Entertaining and informative tour”

We were very happy with the tour and spent the morning in great company. Our guide, Joey, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the churches and artworks. He packed so much into the tour and we learned a lot! You don’t have to know a lot about baroque art beforehand as long as you are interested. I would 100% recommend everyone to go on this tour. We were looking for something different than “just the highlights” of Rome, and Joey’s tour of the churches was perfect for this. (Also combining it with a visit to Galleria Borghese is recommendable :) ).

I’ve had a walking tour with Joey who introduced me to Roman Baroque art in a very informal and fun way. His storytelling (and performing) skills are indisputable and with him the art history goes alive. Instead of showering you with names and dates, he carefully selects only the most important ones and tells the story skilfully adding graphic details where needed, but most importantly his own personal well-informed perspectives. “100% Worth it”
