Really enjoyed our tour. Was taken on a journey from the beginnings of Rome to current. Following politics, history as well as art and architecture.
Compared to other tours which just go to the basics, this one is awesome!

The tour I had was really private. The guide showed us many things that we normally wouldn’t have known if we just did a tour of the Roman Forum and the colosseum. The guide gave us many advices for our trip to Rome and he was super nice. We really liked our tour with him.

They cancelled our tour just before it was due to start, we were already at the meeting place. When at night we were asked for confirmation.

“No show ”
We were there at 10:20 and no guide showed up. We waited till 10:45 and noticed no other tourists were waiting for the Tour. An 11am Spanish Tour guide met his his group with no problem. We made the best of our day by escorting ourselves through the ruins of Rome and had an enjoyable experience.

“The guide never showed up :(”
I had taken this tour before and since i was back in Rome with a friend who was visiting for the first time and the experience had been so nice, I wanted to take her on this tour. The guide never showed up, which left 8 of us very dissapointed. It would have been nice to receive any sort of cancellation :/

Interesting tour, the guide knew what he was talking about, he was enthusiastic and fun. He tried to keep us in the shade as much as possible.
We would have liked to walk a bit more to see more sights.

“No-show tour guide”
The tour guide did not show up. We arrived at 9.55 and waited like 15 minutes. Our hotel was too far so we woke up early and thanks to the guide all the plan for that day changed. Also, I got a message from FreeTour which says that "1 person(s) could not attend" :) Strongly not suggesting this tour....

The tour guide did not show up. I arrived at the meeting place at 10.00am and waited until 11.00am under extreme heat. I was not informed that the tour had been cancelled and left several messages which were not answered. Do not waste your time with booking this tour.

“Fun and educational, all at same time”
Marcelo is an excellent tour guide. It’s not the typical tour where we go to the touristic points of Rome - he tries to give you a general vision of how the city and the imperial were created, giving you specific examples and showing you specific monuments that aren’t the “normal” ones. And as a top of the cherry, he’s a very funny and spiritual person, which we truly connected immediately. Grazie Marcelo! ????

Marcello was our guide for this excellent tour! He was so passionate about the history of Rome! He provided us all with the historical perspective that allowed us to appreciate Rome as it appears before us today.
