Discover Pula on a one-and-a-half-hour walking tour designed to give you a clear and engaging overview of the city in a short time. We’ll pass by the key historical landmarks and explain how Pula developed from Roman times into the Mediterranean city it is today. The tour starts in front of the arena, where we explore the area around this iconic landmark before continuing through the city center. I won’t overwhelm you with dry facts. Instead, I’ll share stories and interesting details that give meaning to each place we visit. Beyond history, I’ll also tell you where you can truly eat well, from local Istrian and Balkan cuisine to spots that locals enjoy. “Excellent Walking Tour of Old Roman town of Pula”

Mihael was an exceptional tour guide. He spoke in perfect English and was so knowledgeable about the Roman history of the town. Beyond his skills and expertise, he is also very personable and intelligent. I’m so glad we took this walking tour. It was only supposed to be an 1 and 1/2, he spent 2 1/2 with us. We were so engaged in the tour that we did want to pause in case we missed anything. Very well done! Bravo!!!

“A wonderful relaxed tour through Pulas history”

We booked our tour pretty spontaneously today with Mihael. Everything was super relaxed and Mihael is a super nice guy with deep knowledge of Pulas history. The Walking pace was very moderate and we could ask all sorts of questions along the walk. Mihael answered all of them patiently. This was my first time booking through freetour.com, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting much. But Mihael showed me just how brilliant the concept really is. He is a local guide with extensive knowledge of Pula and its history. He made this experience truly one of a kind because, beyond simply sharing historical facts, he introduced me to Pula through the eyes of someone who has lived there his entire life. The whole experience felt very Bourdain-esque. Since it was a free tour, there was no pressure on either side—just Mihael's genuine enthusiasm, which I hope I rewarded appropriately at the end. “So lovey and interesting!”
