Dear traveler, welcome to Pula! I’m Dalen – a local history teacher and licensed guide, born and raised in Pula. With a degree in history and a deep passion for my hometown, I invite you to join me on a free walking tour filled with stories, heritage, and local charm. This tour takes you through over 3,000 years of history, from Roman emperors to Austro-Hungarian rule and modern Croatian life. What a fabulous tour, definitely recommend these before you have a look yourself. Dalen the guide was exceptionally knowledgeable due to living in Pula all his life. Amazing to get the history and landmarks you may miss “going solo”. The Arena is obviously the highlight but many other places to see which may have gone unnoticed. First class tour.

“Really informative, perfect for the beginning of your stay!”
The entire tour was structured really well! Dalen gave nice fun facts and summed up Pulas History quite nicely. I really enjoyed the mythology parts that came up every now and then. One improvement would be the beginning of the tour: idk if it was that Dalen was a bit nervous, a teacher habit or just a too short timeframe but he spoke really fast and without breaks. For a non-native English speaker it could be a bit hard. Please allow more time for questions in the beginning! But the rest was incredible!

“Great Experience and a Tourguide with huge knowledge”
Our tourguide Dalen from Augustus Walks was a very kind tourguide with huge knowledge. We liked the most that he had little personal anecdotes from his personal life, which made the tour extra special.
His English, is excellent, he is funny and has tons of knowledge, deep in history in general and pula as well. His restaurant recommendations at the end were perfect as well and we enjoyed a delicious pizza in the same evening.

“Well educated and motivated guide”
I had super nice afternoon walk with Delan. I learned a lot about Pula which is a place full of history. He has a really good command of English, so I could easily follow his words. Also he is super motivated and knows a lot about his home town. In general he is easy to be around with and we finished the tour with a beer at local pub. Totally enjoyed it
