Things to do Exclusive Tour Through Pula’s Historic Layers
Welcome to the beautiful city of Pula, capital of the Istrian region. Book your very own private tour around this ancient Roman city with a local and licensed guide. Our meeting point will be at the main square, Forum, right side of the Temple of Augustus, where a journey to ancient Roman times begins. The city's introduction is made, and we embark on a journey through history and the city The next stop, the Cathedral church, with its rich backstory, after which we make our way to the main attraction. Arena Amphitheatre Arena Amphitheater tickets are NOT included, and with a walk around the monument and the best photo points, we learn about this unique landmark, as it has a well-known reputation for being one of the most complete monuments of its type. We will continue toward the city center, along the Giardini promenade, where we admire the local architecture and head toward all the ancient city entrance gates, each with its own dedicated story and symbolism. We will walk the same steps the ancient Romans did, see how they lived and entertained themselves, and compare it to the present-day offers and locations all around the city, which include restaurants, souvenirs, etc.

“Great experience, very nice guide”
Since we were the only guests today, our guide gave us a great "private" tour of Pula, which we absolutely enjoyed.
He mixed a lot of history with "fun-facts" and interesting side notes to make sure it was never boring. Even my wife, who isn't into history too much, enjoyed the tour and had a lot of fun.

Erwin was very excited and passionate about telling us more about Pula and did a great job giving us a glimpse about its complex history. The timing, pacing and communication/presentation of the information could maybe improve a bit, but I'm sure that this will come with more practice :)

“Ivana was the best guide we had in Croatia”
Zagreb was the last stop of our trip and we did a tour in each city we visited. With her high energy and passion, Ivana was the best tour guide we had in the whole of Croatia: very knowledgeable, lots of little tricks to help us remember the information, and overall a great way to know Zagreb. Also, her tips for food were spot on.

“Keine Empfehlung ”
Die Tour war unstrukturiert, ohne Leitfaden. Der Guide ist durch die Jahrzehnte gesprungen und hat nach eigener Aussage mehrfach Punkte übersprungen. Ich empfand es als chaotisch und verwirrend. Fragen konnte er nicht zufriedenstellend beantworten. Empfehlungen bezüglich Restaurants, vegan und vegetarisch, konnte er nicht geben, weil er selbst eben Fleisch esse. Alles in allem war hinterher ein einziges Chaos in meinem Kopf und es sind kaum Details hängen geblieben. Ervin ist bestimmt ein netter Typ, mit dem man mal bei einem Getränk etwas palavern kann, eine Tour würde ich bei ihm nicht nochmal buchen.

“Tolle und herzliche Führung”
Die Führung mit Erwin in Pula war ein absolutes Highlight! Schon zu Beginn hat er uns mit seiner freundlichen und herzlichen Art willkommen geheißen. Während des Rundgangs hat er spannende historische Hintergründe und interessante Geschichten erzählt, die die Stadt auf eine ganz neue Weise lebendig gemacht haben.
Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass es sich nicht wie eine klassische, „steife“ Stadtführung angefühlt hat, sondern wie ein entspannter Spaziergang mit einem guten Freund, der seine Stadt voller Begeisterung zeigt. Wir konnten jederzeit Fragen stellen, die Erwin mit viel Freude beantwortet hat – dadurch entstand eine sehr persönliche und angenehme Atmosphäre.
Am Ende hat er uns sogar noch tolle Tipps für Restaurants, Ausflüge und versteckte Ecken in Pula mitgegeben, die unseren Aufenthalt zusätzlich bereichert haben.
Wir können eine Tour mit Erwin nur wärmstens empfehlen – informativ, herzlich und absolut lohnenswert!

“Interessante und entspannte Tour”
Wir hatten eine, trotz großer Hitze, entspannte, private, da nur unsere Familie dabei war, Tour durch Pula. Unser sehr netter Guide hat uns im Schatten immer die wichtigsten Infos zu den verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben und war jederzeit offen für unsere Fragen. Vielen lieben Dank an Ervin für die informative und sehr ausgiebige Tour durch die Altstadt von Pula.
Ervin war sehr sympathisch, engagiert, hat uns immer wieder eingebunden in seine Erzählungen und hatte stets einen guten Witz auf Lager.
Unsere Tour ging sogar 30min länger als geplant und Ervin hat uns am Ende noch einige tolle Restauranttips gegeben. Wir können Ervin als Tourguide wärmstens empfehlen und hatten eine tolle Zeit mit ihm.

“Kurzweilige, interessante Führung”
Ervin hat uns viele interessante Einblicke verschafft. Ihm ist es gelungen uns die komplexe Geschichte von Pula komprimiert zu vermitteln. Eine kleine Hürde war, dass die gebuchte Führung in Deutsch wegen Überschneidungen in Englisch stattfinden musste, was letztlich aber kein Problem war. Ervin hat auch immer einen Blick gehabt ob wir alles verstanden haben und nachgefragt. Alles in allem eine empfehlenswerte Führung.

Erwin hat uns super freundlich empfangen. Zu Beginn war er etwas aufgeregt, was ihn aber eher sympathisch machte als störend war. Er hat uns sehr ausführlich über Pula und seine Geschichte berichtet, war immer darauf bedacht ein Schattenplätzchen zu finden und ist auf jede unserer Fragen eingegangen.
Insgesamt eine schöne Runde durch die Stadt- wir können Erwin nur empfehlen ????

Wir hatten als Familie gemeinsam eine Tour mit Ervin. Da sich außer uns niemand angemeldet hatte und wir erst kurzfristig dabei waren, sind wir etwas später gestartet. Ervin hat aber gerne auf uns gewartet. Er hat uns viele Dinge über Pula erzählt und ist immer auf unsere Fragen oder Wünsche eingegangen. Auch da wir mit einem kleinen Kind unterwegs waren, hat er das Tempo gerne angepasst. Wir können ihn als Guide und Pula als Reiseziel sehr empfehlen!

Die Buchung über Freetour war unkompliziert und ging schnell. Alle Infos bekommt man als Mail. Ervin war pünktlich am Treffpunkt. Er spricht hervorragend deutsch und englisch.
