Free Tour Communism in Prague

On this tour we leave the old part of Prague that everyone visits. We leave the medieval houses behind and encounter a multitude of architectural styles from modernism and the avant-garde to the brutalism of the communist era.

We will move around a lot, but it will be worth it. We will pass the former Communist Parliament, the current Communist Party headquarters and the place where the Velvet Revolution began in 1989, among many other places.

Each place will take us to a moment of the Czechoslovak 20th century: the First World War and the creation of the Republic, the harsh consequences of the German occupation, but focusing on the longest and most unknown period: the communist dictatorship.
