Things to do Potsdam City Tour

Our city tour of Potsdam starts at the old market square in the historic center. Old and new stand side by side here. But what is old, and what is new? Let's take a closer look together. We continue to the Neuer Markt, through small alleyways to the city canal and past the Nicolaisaal before passing our car-free pedestrian zone, where the "Boulevard of Film" was started in 2024. Through hidden backyards, we reach the Dutch Quarter. And if there's still time, we'll visit the Bassinplatz and look for the Bassin. Our tour is not only about the history of the Prussians, who had a lasting influence on the city's appearance but also about what Potsdam was like during the DDR and under the National Socialists.
