This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played through the shadowed alleys of Mechelen. You will explore 14 different locations while following the story of a curious observer searching for a burning tower in the medieval quarter. At each location, you'll solve a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on monuments, graffiti, and facades. It stays around the medieval quarter, mixing real history with neighborhood myths only locals share. Starting from Het Arsenaal, the stops are spaced an average of around 350m apart, with each location taking around 12 min to complete. The route also passes through Kazerne Dossin, Joods Museum van Deportatie en Verzet and Sint-Romboutskathedraal. At each location, you'll solve a challenge and receive instructions for the next chapter.
