Ticket to the Lisbon Oceanarium

Get your tickets for the Lisbon Oceanarium and get ready for a day full of aquatic discoveries. One of Lisbon's top attractions, the aquarium even includes a gigantic 5,000 m3 aquarium that makes you feel like you're walking on the bottom of the ocean.

It houses more than 8,000 sea creatures, and its focus on conservation and environmental responsibility means your visit will be as educational as it is amazing.

Even from the outside, the building is completely unique. This award-winning building floats on a man-made lake like a ship at anchor. As you walk up the ramp, before showing the entrances to the Oceanário de Lisboa, you'll see Vasco, the mascot, before you dive into this aquatic world.

The main tank is so large that it will seem like an ocean without limits, and it is deep enough for you to observe the different species that develop on the surface, the middle level (piélago) and the creatures that live in the darkness of the seabed.

All around you will find separate habitats that recreate unique marine ecosystems, such as the rocky coast of the North Atlantic and the coral reefs of the Indian Ocean. You'll also learn about actions you can take to protect endangered environments in everyday life.

Takashi Amano's Aquatic Forests.

Waterscape designer Takashi Amano has created an artistic interpretation of the complex diversity of underwater rainforests. With musical accompaniment by Rodrigo Leão, this 40-meter aquarium contains 160,000 liters of freshwater and produces a magical and mysterious visual experience.
