Ich dreu mich, Cecilia als Guide gehabt zu haben. mit Witz und Engagement hat sie Geschichten erzählt und auch versucht uns Fado und Saudade näher zu bringen. Gestartet ist die Tour im ruhigen (zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuches) Teil von Alfama. Das habe ich sehr geschätzt. Laut und trubelig wurde es gegen Ende auf dem Aussichtspunkt ( das ist halt ein beliebter Spot). Die 2.5 Std gingen sehr schnell vorbei und waren dank Cecilia‘s Erzählungen abwechslungsreich, interessant und informativ. Herzlichen Dank!

“Freetour”
Hi I did a tour last Saturday in french with Anne Claire. I think she has interesting things to say and share but her approach and way of talking is rather haughty. She had had a bad morning tour I think. So she repeated a couple of times that we really needed to consider the fact that 3.5eur went to Freetour and not to her pocket. That this job was just "in between". So not a very friendly and funny guide as I am used to with Freetours. Not sure I would recommend her to someone though...

“Disappointment guide francaise”
Hello
I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the recent tour experience my wife and I had.
Upon starting the tour, we were unexpectedly required to pay an additional €7 each. This was not mentioned beforehand and left us feeling uncomfortable. Furthermore, the guide's demeanor was extremely unprofessional. Speaking with chewing gum and a lack of respect, he made us feel unwelcome from the very beginning.
After only three minutes, we felt compelled to leave the tour due to his behavior. When we decided to leave, the guide rudely insisted that we still had to pay, which we found completely unacceptable. This experience has left us with a very negative impression.
We believe that this level of service is far below what one should expect from a professional tour company. We kindly request a full refund of the additional fee we were charged, as well as an apology for the poor treatment we received.

“Perfect introduction to Alfama”
João was a very informative guide, just what we needed for our first introduction to Alfama. We learned many interesting details about Alfama that we would not have found in guide books. It was a bonus when João introduced us to an elderly, life long resident of Alfama, an acquaintance of his. João showed respectful consideration for everyone in the group, especially during the short but more strenuous climb at the beginning of the tour. We are in our late 70s and consider ourselves fairly fit. João was observant and provided several needed stops, filled with historic and amusing stories. The highlight was when Joao sung a Fado lament to everyone, how fitting!

Our guide, Cecilia, was very informed and made our tour so great. She told us stories full of fascinating history and folklore. The terrain was up and down many hills and steps but Cecilia took us slowly and carefully with stops to see the amazing views. Lisbon is a beautiful city with many surprises brought to light on this tour with Cecilia. She even sang us a Fado song with her lovely voice. Thank you for a great day!
