We will start with the imposing Venetian Walls, walking along their paths that once protected the city and still offer a glimpse into its glorious past. Our journey continues to the Tomb of Nikos Kazantzakis, perched high above the city, where breathtaking panoramic views unfold before us. Evelyn was a very personable guide with a lot of local knowledge. She incorporabted Greek mythology and humor into her tour, as well as the important historical facts and sights around Heraklion. The tour was excellent – a perfect mix of history, fun and quirky facts, and insider tips only locals would know, like the best places to eat, drink, and try local treats. We ended the tour at sunset with a stunning view over the whole city, which made the experience even more magical.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and could answer any question. She was also very friendly and made the whole group feel welcome – overall, great company to spend time with. We truly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Heraklion!

“Friendly and accommodating tour guide”
With only two of us turning up - as several others cancelled at the last minute - Evelyn took us on a private tour of the city. She was chatty and friendly, and kept us fully engaged throughout. She had good stories of the history, and showed us several part of the city that we went back to later in the evening. Definitely would recommend.

“A tour with love and passion for the city ”
Evelyn is such a great guide! The tempo was just perfect, she told us so many interesting facts about the city - she literally had an answer for any question! Extremely professional, very attentive to any detail, creative and very well prepared (the historical facts, years, printed pictures). We have even got a small lesson of the Greek language!
Out of 10 we would give 12! The tour is much more above expectations!

Evelyn was great. She was on time and gave clear instructions for the meeting point.
She is very kind and insightful. Even when a couple was late, she gladly repeated the explanations on Crete occupation periods and liberation.
It was a great tour with her (part of it at least as we had to leave before it ended).

Evelyn is a very sympathetic person who took us on an interesting tour through the city and it's history. She gave us some insight in the mythological background of the foundation of Iraklio, showed us the most important buildings of the city and places to eat, also parts of the town beyond the touristic center. The trip ended at the old city wall where Katzantsakis is buried and where you can get a wonderful overlook over the town. Most important Evelyn was always interested in answering additional questions. Highly recommend!

“It's the people you get to know on the journey”
It was simply amazing! Evelyn is so charismatic and funny! She taught us so much in such a light way, she would always make sure we understood what she just said and, if not, she would explain it in another way, until we managed to get it. The places she showed us were always interesting and we got the opportunity to get in touch/get to know the point of view of the locals. She also showed us points of the city where we, as tourists, would've not been able to get/fully experience without her tips. Besides the physical places she took us, she taught us about Cretan symbols and icons.
It's a tour you can make even if you have already walked through the town by yourself, Evelyn always has something more to teach!

“Informative, fun tour”
We did a 2 hour walking tour with Evelyn. It wa very interesting to understand the history of Heraklion and Evelyn showed us places that we would not have seen had we not done the tour. “Very good experience ”
We met Evelyn close to the port and we started the guided tour. She was very kind, explaining us the history of the city and answering to all our curiosity. She suggested us some restaurants and activities to do and thanks to her we can see the essence of heraklion. Modern neighborhood was so cool, we never would be there alone, and the last stop was walking on the ancient wall enjoying a beautiful sunset!
