Just 20 minutes from Heraklion, in the traditional village of Avgeniki, discover the authentic taste of Crete in a beautiful renovated stone house. Step into a local home and join me for a warm, hands-on Cretan cooking experience. Together, we’ll prepare some of the dishes that have always brought families around the table: moussaka, dakos, tzatziki and a delicious homemade kaseropita, inspired by the traditional Sunday family pie. You won’t just watch—you’ll cook, taste and learn the little secrets behind these recipes while hearing stories about Cretan food, traditions and everyday life. When everything is ready, we’ll sit together around a wooden table and enjoy the meal we have prepared, accompanied by local wine and genuine Cretan hospitality. This is more than a cooking class.
