“Must do for all visitors”
Ghent is a very compact, walkable city. The density of history and architecture packed on this tiny town is too great to take in on your own. We thought this two hours, led by local Sebastian, was the best way to learn about and appreciate this city in such a convenient, educational, and enjoyable way. The distance covered was just right.

“Fantastic city tour of Ghent”
I really enjoyed the free tour today. I did the 10:30 am slot which consisted of a small group of people and I loved it. It felt like a personal guided tour. Our guide, Julien, who has a background in history, was really good. He was very knowledgeable and told us many interesting facts about the city. Other than showing us around the important historical sites of the city of Ghent, he also showed us some interesting photos and paintings from the past along with some interesting anecdotes. I found the tour really informative and helpful and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ghent. It’s a must-do! Thank you.

Si bien no fue culpa de la guía, al llegar al punto de encuentro me dijeron que no se iba a realizar por falta de asistentes. Por suerte pude coger sitio en otro tour de otra compañía porque solo me quedaba unas horas en Gante. Estaría bien poder avisar 12 horas antes al menos si se va a realizar el tour o no para poder organizarte.

Sehr viele nett erzählte Anekdoten und Geschichten zur Historie von Gent. Ein wirklich kompetenter und sehr sympathischer Führernamens Dave? oder David? Ein junger Mann mit Brille und lockigem Haar.
Das Wetter war sehr schön und Gent zeigte sich von seiner besten Seite, das gepaart mit der wunderbaren Führung, war ein Hochgenuss. Leider war die Gruppe sehr groß, aber auch das händelte der Führer ganz prima.

“2 hours of getting to know Gent ”
From the knowledge about the city, funny stories from the past, humorous outlook on rivalry between different cities and countries, enthusiasm in telling historical facts, Kenny was an amazing tour guide.
It is truly the best way to get to know any city, by going with a guide who is as professional as Kenny was !
The two hours which we spent together flew by.
Also, the recommendations for food and beverages were really good. We loved the Belgian stew.

“Fun and Informative Gent Walking Tour”
My husband and I had an afternoon to spend in Gent, and we wanted to see the main landmarks and learn about the history of the city. We joined Onur's walking tour, had a really fun afternoon, and learned a ton about Gent. Onur had lots of great and vivid stories about what life was like in Gent during the Middle Ages. He was an engaging storyteller, as well as very kind and professional. We feel lucky that we got Onur as our guide, and we would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone else wanting a fun and educational tour in Gent.

He reservado este free tour varias veces (español e inglés) en anteriores ocasiones pero esta vez el/la guía no se presentó.
Y no sólo no se presentó en el punto de encuentro, sino que tampoco respondió a los mensajes de la otra guía que hacía el tour de cata para saber si confirmar si se cancelaba, si debíamos esperar un poco más o disculparse al menos.

Habíamos reservado el tour y nos habíamos organizado el día en Gante alrededor de ese horario. No se nos ha avisado de que se cancelaba ni nadie se ha puesto en contacto. hemos llegado con antelación y hemos estado esperando con el frío bastante tiempo después, pero nada.
Me parece una gran falta de respeto y profesionalidad dejar a gente tirada sabiendo que hay personas que quieren aprovechar el tiempo al máximo de viaje porque no disponen de mucho y organizarse fuera puede ser complicado.
