Things to do Historic Galle Fort E-bike Adventure

Discover Galle on a Guided Retro E-Bike Tour Explore the historic coastal city of Galle on a 2.5–3 hour guided retro e-bike tour, starting from our office. After a short safety briefing, bottled water, helmets, and your retro e-bike are provided (riders must be 154cm/5'1" and confident cyclists). Ride 4.5km along the scenic south coast road to the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, with insights from our experienced English-speaking guide. Pedal past lively local scenes, fishermen, markets, and colonial-era buildings. Enter Galle Fort through the old gate and cycle through its 52-hectare spread of European architecture and heritage sites: the Dutch Reformed Church (1707), National Maritime Museum, Meera Mosque, All Saints Church, Clock Tower, Lighthouse, and more. Continue through the 1873 New Entrance and explore the vibrant Galle fruit market and the Old Dutch Market (Green Market), established in 1880. End your ride with fresh local fruit juice and snacks at a nearby café. The tour concludes either at our office or inside the Fort, your choice.
