Things to do Free Tour: Gateway to the Japanese Garden

Japanese gardens have a very special aura for me. No matter which Japanese garden I visit, I am always fascinated by the harmony and tranquillity of these places. This gave rise to the question for me: How do garden designers succeed in consciously and reliably creating this feeling? This guided tour is the result of my personal research and involvement with the design of Japanese gardens. On a relaxed walk through the Japanese garden in the Seepark, I share my knowledge of typical design elements, symbolic structures and cultural backgrounds. Together, we learn not just to see the garden superficially, but to immerse ourselves in it: stones, water, plants and paths take on a new meaning and open up deeper access to this special garden art. At the end of the tour, we return to the entrance - with a sharpened eye, a calmer mind and a better understanding of how Japanese gardens appeal to our perceptions, sensibilities and needs. A tranquil, inspiring tour for anyone who appreciates nature, culture and conscious perception.
