As the former center of the Holy Roman Empire, this city was the stage for imperial elections and coronations for centuries. “Nice tour with historic background”
Holger gave us a very nice tour of Frankfurt and provided a lot of infomarion abot the history of Germany. For us, as we were a group of six German-speakers (the German tours were not matching our schedule), there was some information that we already knew and learned in school. Nevertheless, everyone of us heard something new and learned also something about German history. Next to that, we all got a good impression of the citiy center of Frankfurt that was completely new to all of us.

The food place and the restaurant he recommende were great.As a solo traveler, this free tour is a wonderful opportunity for me to meet other travelers from different countries and talk with local people like Mr. Holger.

My husband and I only had one day in Frankfurt and it happened to be a Sunday, when all the shops are closed. The walking tour that we were lucky enough to book with Holgen turned out to be the highlight of the trip. Holgen was passionate, knowledgeable, personable and funny. His love for his country and the city was palpable. He welcomed questions and offered relevant suggestions about places to eat, visit, and explore beyond the tour. This was definitely our best walking tour!
