“Increíble e interesante”

Mikel ha sido un GRAN guía. Conocimos lugares e historias que de no haber sido por el nunca hubiésemos conocido. Muy interesante y divertido. Las dos horas parecieron cinco minutos. Cien por cien recomendable.

“I Love it!”

“Great introduction”

I thoroughly enjoyed Joan's Free tour of the Old Town because it was really considered and carefully put together with a deep love of the city and its people. Joan is peruvian - he's from Lima and has lived in Lima. We find Peruvians often take their city for granted whereas Joan was able to compare and contrast it with our city capital of Germany and was incredibly enthusiastic about the Peruvian people, art and architecture. As a linguist he speaks Enghish. So he was able to give me a lot of insights as a Brit who is new to latinoamerican countries. For every building he had a little story to tell and it really intrigued me to get to know more about the country and its people. We did the tour in October 2025 and went for a beer afterwards by a statue of a man flogging an upside down horse - I believe it's one of Joan's favourite cafes and sculptures. I came to live and work in Lima shortly after, partly inspired by meeting Joan and his introduction to life here

“Brujas”

Hicimos el tour con Juanpa y no se puede estar más satisfecho. Se nota que es alguien que disfruta con su trabajo y lo transmite muy bien. No sólo te enseña monumentos e historia sino que te empapa de la cultura y tradiciones belgas, te aconseja para que tu visita sea más agradable y todo con humor y cercanía. Totalmente recomendable.
