“Very interesting tour”

Sometimes we stayed in the same place a long time so the feet were hurting a bit, but other than that the tour was great!

The tour had a lot of interesting information but the guide should keep more personal opinions to himself. He was quite rude to an Iranian protestor mocking him in front of everyone, which was confusing and uncomfortable.

“Wonderful experience through Stockholm”
I really enjoyed the tour. First of all, it covered other areas than the renowned Gamla Stan. Then, the information was perfect - not too detailed, not too general. I think that showing the images on the tablet is not the best idea, it is small and you cannot really see clearly when it is sunny outside. Also, for large groups, a sort of voice amplifier is needed.

The places were good and the information were useful. But the guide Karl was rude and talked very fast and walked very fast to the next stops. He seemed to be in a hurry and was eager to finish the tour as fast as possible. We didn‘t tip him and he even followed us and asked us rudely: „You don‘t want to give tips?“ Also a few people left the group after the first stops and he didn‘t even care.

“Stockholm walking tour”
I and my 2 grown up children did the City tour with Albena on 31st Dec. We enjoyed it so much, we came back and did the Old Town tour with Priyanka the following day!!
Both tours were excellent - the guides were full of enthusiasm and were very knowledgeable and informative.
We learnt lots of interesting facts about Stockholm and have lots of photos to remind us of our great stay in this very beautiful city.

“A Tour of Cold Stockholm ”
Our tour with Albena began with a talk about the Old Town and the history, which was interesting and made us realize we were standing on an island.
The tour proceeded to the mainland, past the Palace and parly buildings. At all times, our guide was informative and full of stories about the place. A lovely day out, despite that it was freezing cold.

Alex our tour guide has made a great job. He is a friendly guy with british accent and a loud voice, which is very useful in the old town of Stockholm. The historical facts are interesting and the hints where not to buy souvenirs helpful. I can really recommend the tour!

“Too much information”
Whilst the guide was very informative, she spent far too long at each stop and spoke at length. Due to heat, and even despite seeking shade, the explanations could have been shorter and the tour lengthened by adding more stops. In comparision to other free tours of other cities like Copenhagen and Edinburgh, this was too long in talk and too short in interesting stops.

We didn't cover a lot of ground. Certainly not all that was listed on the website. It stated we would end at the changing of the guard ceremony, but instead abruptly ended by the theater. Not a huge deal- I hadn't wanted to see that- it just didn't live up to its description on the website. I guess you get what you (don't) pay for.

Our guide (19/10 at 10.30) was passionate and really explained the history of Stockholm. It was a good tour to have an idea of the city in detail. She told us about everything.
On our second tour (19/10 at 13h) around the old town wasn't that nice. The guide knew a lot about the city but she didn't explained as good as the first guide. We think it might be because of her experience doing tours.
Anyway, this free tours are an excellent way to start getting to know the city!

“NO ONE ever showed up”
We arrived at 10:15 for a 10:30 tour, checked with a number of Swedish people that we were in the right place. No guide ever showed up. We wasted valuable, limited time for a tour that never materialized. NO ONE ever showed up. When we sought information from a tourist office later and mentioned that no guide ever showed up, we were told the tours usually began at 1 pm. Since our reservation clearly indicated 10:30, the helpful tourist office person called the phone number on our reservation form. No answer
