Things to do Little Mermaid & Harbor Tour of Copenhagen Free Tour

The tour meets at Generator Hostel. We will walk through the King's Garden, located in the center of the city. The Garden of Rosenborg Castle, a Renaissance castle is a popular destination and houses an impressive collection of royal jewels and historical artifacts. From Rosenborg, we will head towards Nyboder, a picturesque residential neighborhood with brightly colored houses. Built in the 17th century to house sailors. Then, we'll head to Kastellet, an impressive 17th-century star fortress, which stands at the entrance to Copenhagen's harbor. This fortress is a fascinating historical place and offers a breathtaking view of the port and the city. After Kastellet, we will continue to one of the most iconic sites in Copenhagen: The Little Mermaid statue. This iconic bronze statue is located in a beautiful park by the sea and is a symbol of a city that you cannot miss. We will continue our walk down the Harbor and stop along to hear stories of merchants and the Royal Danish Navy and everything about the famous harbor. My family (2 boys, 8 & 12) and I did a walking tour of Copenhagen with Fran. He fielded many, many questions and was full of knowledge. The tour was a good pace and he tailored it as we went along based on the types of things the group was interested in. We really loved this tour and it was the perfect introduction to our stay in Copenhagen. Highly recommend!

“A wonderful overview of Copenhagen”

Jack was a fantastic guide. We took his tour during our (brief) 11 hour layover in Copenhagen. He provided a fantastic tour, covering history, politics, environmental impacts, and the growth of Copenhagen over the centuries. Highly recommend this enjoyable tour.

“Buena opción como tour complementario!”

Es un tour por el Puerto (zona militar, Sirenita y Puerto Nuevo). Unas 2 horas de duración. Paseo agradable con información interesante. Lo recomiendo. En mi caso, me tocó una guía bastante agradable, dio mucha información, aunque buena parte de ella la daba por el camino durante los desplazamientos y no en las paradas, que se hacían estrictamente para hablar del lugar concreto. Lo mejorable sería que esa información interesante sobre Copenague y su día a día la diera a todo el grupo, quizás con un sistema de audio (no usaba ninguno).
