Join us on this wonderful tour of the historical center of the Danish capital in order to explore on foot its cobbled streets, its picturesque buildings and its most important historical highlights. We start the tour at the City Hall Square (Rådhuspladsen) in Copenhagen. Some of the most important highlights that we will visit will be the Old and New Square, Christiansborg palace, the Church of St. Nicholas, the New King's Square, and Nyhavn port together with its colourful buildings. We finish the tour at Amalienborg Palace, the Queen of Denmark's winter residence.

Tour was great despite it was raining all the time. There were about 50 people split in 2 language groups, English and Spanish. Our English guide, Peruvian woman Elizabeth, was really informative and well organized. The tour took 3 hours during which we covered some basic sights. I highly recommend it.

“Great experience on a rainy day”
Even though it rained all day on Sunday and the weather outside was not conducive to a tour of Copenhagen, we still came and didn't regret it for a minute. A very nice guide from Peru (I'm so sorry, I don't remember her name) showed us the city and in such weather that our love for Copenhagen only grew stronger. “This was a miss”
Well, I really wish I could only tell good things about our tour, but unfortunately it wasn’t the case this time.
Elizabeth, our tourguide was pretty shallow about the stuff she was telling, very brief and nothing in depth or nothing special that a 15 second Google search wouldn’t have told us. Don’t get me wrong, I did not expect anything spectacular, but a few extra info here and there would have been nice, or going the extra mile once or twice.
Also, out of all the people in Denmark (where everyone speaks spot on, almost native English) we got a tour guide who cannot speak proper English - I’d say this is the company’s fault for the most part. I mean we could understand each other but it wasnt a seamless experience.
The most disturbing part was the “paying” - I do understand that this is a tip based service, but it is still marketed as free! I do not hesitate giving X amount of money at the end (as I did many times before), bur stating that the minimum is 5 euro and 15 is expected is a reach, and making a fuss about a group of people (2 ppl) who did not tip enough coz the reservation was for 5 and only 2 showed up, so that 2 person should “cover the rest’s part” was really uncomfortable and a unique experience.
We have been to many free walking tours and all of them were a blast and awesome, this one was a total miss

Llevo haciendo free tours durante muchos años por Europa y otros países y, aunque es normal que te hagan tomar conciencia de su trabajo y del valor que tiene, nunca me habían coaccionado para pagar una cantidad concreta, la gente estaba presionada y estoy segura de que más de uno ha pagado más de lo que consideraba apropiado por miedo a represalias. Creo que el concepto de Free tour no es este y ha sido bastante desagradable. Es una pena porque como guía, Elisabeth es buena, pero creo que debería darle una vuelta y tratar con más respeto a los participantes.

We saw most of the major landmarks in a fun atmosphere, with historical facts and cultural importance. I wish we would have had time to see the little mermaid, but we only had a short walk to it by the end of the tour. We also got bars and restaurants recommendations, which was quite useful from a local!

Me gustó mucho. Mucha historia. Descubrimos Copenhague paso a paso. El guía es muy amable y tiene mucho humor. Ha sido un tour muy agradable.
