Bratislava free tour

Our Bratislava Free Tour invites you to visit the most significant points of the Slovak capital and discover the history it hides among its beautiful monuments of the old town.

Accompanied by our guide, we will begin our tour from the Fish Square (Rybné námestie). We will walk up to the Castle with its beautiful views of the city and the oldest history of Bratislava. At other stops, we will talk about the Kings of Hungary and the Habsburg Emperors who were crowned in Bratislava in St. Martin's Cathedral. Next, we will arrive at St. Michael's Gate to learn about the golden age of Bratislava. Once in the Main Square, we will reveal its extensive history, and will be impressed by its numerous embassies and the Napoleonic soldier statue. Passing by the emblematic statue of the waving man, in honor of a former neighbor who used to walk around dressed in tails and wave with his hat, we will head towards the popular statue of Čumil, the man emerging from a sewer. We will contemplate the Old Town Hall at the Primate's Square, the seat of the city legislation power. Did you know that this is one of the most beautiful squares in the historic center? We will continue to the Slovak National Uprising Square, where we will talk about the modern history of Slovakia, and where we will end our tour.
