This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played outdoors, on the streets of multicultural and multifaith town of Chania. You will explore 12 locations while following a forbidden love story filled with historical facts. At each location, you'll be solving a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on various elements such as monuments, graffiti, and facades. The game is mainly focused around the Old Town area and includes the most picturesque spots, churches, mosques and synagogues, where Greek, Venetian, and Ottoman elements intertwine. Starting from the Church of Saint Nicholas, the stops are spaced an average of around 250m apart, with each location taking around 9 min to complete. The route also passes through Venetian Harbor Guardhouse, Old Venetian Port, and the Lighthouse. At every stop, the app unlocks a new chapter and guides people to the next location.
