Drift off as you enter the dream world of Mos Nicolae, Romania´s Santa Claus, known in other counties as St. Nicholas. Our itinerary begins as we head off in the direction of the fascinating boulevard with its Christmas decorations until we reach the inside of the market where we will come across stalls selling handmade gifts, sweet treats (like the traditional sweet filled with cream) or other traditional seasonal specialties.

Shortly after, we will visit a very well-known outdoor Christmas market. Don´t worry though, we´ll treat you to a coffee or to traditional hot mulled wine so you can warm up while we take a pleasant stroll around the Christmas stalls and admire all the handicrafts on sale by the locals.
Be sure not to miss a visit to the old town where we will be able to witness a magical night scene as we take a stroll along its medieval alleyways decorated for the occasion. Here, learn all about its history and be amazed by the numerous Christmas traditions which are celebrated in the country.
Lastly, head towards the third and most impressive Christmas markets of them all. Stretched out right in front of the enormous Palace of Parliament it hosts endless stalls and stands. Moreover, it boasts magnificent Christmas decorations and the most authentic cuisine; be ready to hear all about the dishes that make up the Romanian traditional Christmas menu. Several concerts and shows are also hosted here and among its attractions, there is an amazing carousel; and as for the jewel of the market: the spectacular Christmas tree.
And to end with a good taste in your mouth, you will be offered a sample of its most famous cuisine as well as a traditional small gift for you to take away and remember your experience in Romania.
