Join Brussels’ first European Union-themed free walking tour, where an EU insider and comedian will walk you behind the scenes of the European District. With the right combination of history, political insight, and humor, you will learn how the European Union works (and how it really works). As the de facto capital of the EU, Brussels is where many of the laws and policies that affect over 500 million European citizens are decided. Yet, the European Quarter remains a relatively unexplored part of Brussels for most visitors. This tour was born to change that. Walk with a former EU insider and professional comedian through stately parks, ample boulevards, and imposing official buildings and learn about the history of the European Union, the roles of its main institutions, and the behind-the-scenes work of bureaucrats, journalists, and lobbyists. And how all of it changed the fate of Brussels. This is a tip-based tour: you decide the price you pay. The guide: your guide will be Dani Mora, a Spanish-born comedian based in Brussels, writer and performer of "the Schuman Show", Brussels-own EU politics comedy show, and former lobbyst in a non-so-distant life.

This tour is a great way to learn about Brussels and the EU! It was filled with knowledge and information but also fun! Even if it was a cold day, Dani kept the group engaged and entertained, he waited for us to make a coffee break and cared for everybody. Would recommend, even for people living in Brussels!

“Great discovery ”
I joined Dani in his tour in November 2024, and as a young person wanting to approach the European world and wanting to learn something more, I can say that I really found what I was searching for! The tour was full of curiosities, questions, history, discoveries and humor, that explained from a former worker in the European Union, really let you dive in the massive mechanism of the EU. Dani was really available and prepared with questions, he really found ways to keep such a heavy subject, so light and funny, also with the use of schemes and jokes!. I would only recommend, as most of the time you stand still, to get dressed with many layers if you plan to do it in this season, because it can get quite freezing, especially if you're not used to it. Weather apart, really recommend that 10/10

I can highly recommend this tour. It was very informative without being overwhelming because of the jokes, which help make relatable a subject that could otherwise be difficult or boring. As a tour guide myself, I really appreciate his approach!
Dani was very mindful of the people on the tour, as he found us some places to sit and rest on the way.

“Laughed a lot and learned something too!”
I took this tour recently with three friends who were visiting me in Brussels. Having lived here a few years already -- and working in the EU Bubble - I wasn't expecting to learn much but Dani soon showed me how wrong I was! “EU-Nerd and a comedian and a tour guide”
Dani takes the group through the main things to see in the EU quarter in just two hours and gives an good overview of what the EU is, at least physically, in Brussels: Buildings, people, legislation, complicated names.
It is a great way for people that want to know more and make sense of what the EU is, hiw legislation get passed and the setting they are negotiated.
Also, did I mention Dani is genuinely funny and liking what he talks about?

“The perfect way to laugh and learn about The Brussels Bubble”
People don’t usually associate the Brussels EU quarter with comedy, but in this 2 hour tour, Dani Mora manages to make the impossible possible. Being both a seasoned tour guide and entertainer, his passion for both shines through and he managed to keep us all engaged and entertained throughout!
I also learned a lot of new things about this part of Brussels I had no idea about like the former Nazi HQ and where the EU Nobel peace prize lives!
If you like history, politics and comedy- definitely don’t miss this tour!

Die Führung war rundum toll und einfach mal etwas ganz anderes. 2 Stunden Führung und es war zu keiner Zeit langweilig. Sehr humorvoll und spannend erzählt Dani Hintergründe zur EU, gibt Einblicke in die Politik Europas und zeigt auf humorvolle Art und Weise, wie komplexe Politik funktioniert und wie wichtig Demokratie ist.

“Amazing tour, very highly recommended!”
If you are not an intimate expert of European institutions, but you wanna know a bit more about them and learn facts and interesting back stories in a fun way, this is the tour for you. It was very well organised and the guide was relaxed and very knowledgeable at the same time. We learned a lot, but in the end didn't have the feeling to have been drowned in facts. 5 stars for this great experience!
