“ passion of the guide”
Easy to book, a fair price but you will definitely hand over more money for a well worth tour. From the start our guide was funny, interactive, knowledgeable and passionate. The history and locations were brought to life. We had booked with a different company but I cancelled because they were sooo money obsessed with texts and emails to me. I’m so glad I cancelled and went with this tour the 8 of us loved it. Our tour guide made it a brilliant tour.

Although it took me more than 20 minutes to reach the tour group, I found the guide very informative. She explained the history and culture of Bruges in as much detail as can be cramped into the 2 hour session. She was also quite jovial. The unusually sunny weather helped. We had chocolate tasting at a store that made the chocolates. Finishing in front of one of Belgium foremost beer brewery was great. Having a masterful guide was very helpful.

“Free Bruges Walking Tour”
We always like starting off a new city with a walking tour. It gives us a 'lay of the land,' shows us some key highlights, allows us to revisit those places that interest us and also enable us to ask questions to a local: a must do. Our guide (I do not remember her hame) was a nice, caring and good person. We have some suggestions: her discussions jumped around, she very easily distracted by taking way too much time to answer questions, and needed to better position herself to speak to the whole group. That is, most times she had her back to some in the group: therefore we could not hear much. My suggestion to freetour.com is to provide some coaching regarding time-management, facing the group, and staying on point. These are all supportive suggestions; we really liked her and she will and can be a great tour guide.

“Friendly, entertaining and informative ”
Peter was an excellent storyteller and guide. He combined the history of Bruges (and in part Belgium) with the various landmarks in an engaging way that included politics, economics, and religion. He was so great at keeping our group together and getting us to the best photo/notable places throughout Bruges. Really feel lucky to have had him as our guide.

Peter was an absolutely great guide: knowledgeable, enthusiastic, with a great sense of humour. He took us not only to the usual must-sees, but some more unassuming places with interesting history.
If you're staying in Bruges overnight, I greatly recommend an evening tour: the crowds leave at the end of the day and we had most of the place completely to ourselves.

“Fantastic Storytelling Tour with Pascal!”
Our walking tour of Brugges with Pascal was fantastic. Pascal's passion for, and knowledge of, beautiful Brugges shines through in the interesting, and often humorous, stories he shares during the easy paced 2 hour tour. This tour is an absolute 'must do.' At the end, Pascal shares some of his favourite places to eat and drink, his favourite museums, and highlights some free things for visitors on a budget. If I could give 500 stars to Pascal I would! Highly recommend!

It was very insightful, fresh and most importantly entertaining, it’s true Bruges itself it’s an amazing city but nevertheless, Pascal did a great job, it was exactly what we needed for a one day trip. “Let's get on with it !”
My Sunday walk was for the Bruges one. The lady guide was nice and seem competent(studies in Art and all).
The main problem was we barely moved from the original meeting point in nearly 40 min.! Talk, talk, and talk. If she would have talked while walking when thats ok. We walked about 500 feet before i left. It needed a better structure as a walking tour with clearly identified spot to walk to so then we could make a idea of what we wanted afterwards to explore. Dissapointing.

Pascal is a brilliant guide. He is so passionate about his job. He talks about the Bruges so emotional as an actor showing us real stories. It is very exciting to listen to him, and I am so happy that I joined his group. When he saw me later in the afternoon, he called me by name and waved. It's so cute that he remembers names despite the number of people he meets every day.
I would attend with pleasure the evening tour if the weather was not so cold. But for sure, I will keep this tour in my mind for a long period.

“I never thought I'd learn so much about Bruges in under two hour”
I think Pascal has been the best tour guide I've had so far. Not only does he care a lot about informing us with local and historical facts, but he also put on a show to impress and engage us. Mind you that it was a very windy day with occasional showers, yet he was taking care of the whole tour with no issues whatsoever. Would totally recommend this free tour (and have already to some friends of mine that wanted to visit Brugge!)
