Things to do Discover Athens from Ancient Times to Today

This tour is an invitation to discover Athens with locals: understanding its past and present, and how very often they’re interrelated. More than a historical tour, we aim to provide you with information regarding contemporary Greece in terms of arts, culture, society, economy, and politics. We will bring you to the main historical places of Athens, linking different historical periods, from Ancient Greece until the present day. Starting from the National Academy, we’ll bring you around the main places to see in Athens: Syntagma square, the National Garden, the Panathenaic Stadium, Zappeion, the Gate of Hadrian, the Temple of Zeus, Plaka and Anafiotika, the Roman and Ancient Agoras… eventually ending up in the heart of the city center, where you’ll find many restaurants and entertainment places. Here, we embrace diversity and will be more than happy to build our “talky-walky” time according to what’s best for you! Let’s meet for a nice and sunny walk around Athens’ streets, and share some tips to make sure you’ll make the best of your time in Greece, discovering its most secret yet beautiful places and its most delicious meals and addresses!
