Discover Udaipur’s hidden lanes, temples, and timeless stories on a soulful heritage walk. Experience culture, history, and local life through the eyes of a passionate local guide.
Walk the old city with a professional local guide who knows Udaipur inside out. We begin at the iconic Ghanta Ghar (Clock Tower), then step into the shimmering Shri Sheetalnath Kach Derasar (Jain Glass Temple) to explore Jain history and breathtaking glass artistry. From here, we wind through the old city street, lanes of artisans, havelis, and everyday life, toward Brahmpole (Brahmpol).
Cross the pedestrian Daiji Ki Pulya over Lake Pichola for panoramic views and stories of trade routes and royal-era crossings. Along the waterfront at Gangaur Ghat, I’ll share the legends of the Gangaur festival and the ghat’s royal traditions. We then admire Bagore Ki Haveli (from outside), its courtyards, balconies, and living museum of Mewar culture.
The trail continues to the grand Jagdish Temple, where intricate carvings and living devotion meet. We conclude at the serene Shri Jagat Shri Moni Temple, a sacred Krishna shrine, perfect for a quiet, spiritual close to our journey. Expect local stories, hidden corners, architecture, temples, and lake views, a true Udaipur heritage walk guided by a trusted local.
