After meeting at the indicated time in Marienplatz, we will access the subway to go to the Olympic Park in Munich.
Once there, we will have before us more than 300 hectares that were dedicated to the celebration of the Olympics and that, today, represent one of the most important recreational areas in Munich. We will review all the phases that this place has gone through and, of course, we will talk about the 1972 Olympic Games, its famous mascot, Waldi, and the terrible tragedy that marked this sporting event.
During this Munich Olympiapark and English Garden Tour we will see the façade of the Olympic Stadium, with a capacity for almost 70,000 people, the futuristic BMW Welt dealership and the Olympiaturm: the Olympic Tower, the highest in the city (291 meters).
After the guided tour of the Olympiapark, we will access the subway again to get closer to the English Garden or Englischer Garten, one of the largest urban parks in the world. We will show you why this place is one of the favorites of surfers in the city. During the walk we will also come across a Japanese tea house, a Greek temple and even a Chinese pagoda.
We will finish the Munich Olympiapark and English Garden Tour returning to the center of Munich three hours later
