Day Trip biking in Morocco

MTB Day Trip Ouirgane Valley. The beautiful backdrop to your private biking getaway is approximately one hour from Marrakech. This peaceful valley is surrounded by timeless Berber villages where you can see the pleasures of a simpler life where the philosophy of life is more or less extinct in the western world. Stand for just a minute contemplating the view in any direction and you will start to absorb a sense of nature's peacefulness surrounding you. This tour will take you down the road (or off road) less travelled in the serene Ouirgane Valley of Asni. The tour starts at the stunning & traditional Villa Ouirgane and ascends 7km uphill towards a small hidden village where a friendly smiling local Berber meets us. The first break will be in the village of Tinzert where you will be welcomed by a typical Berber breakfast which consists of homemade baked bread, vibrant olive oil, country eggs, and classically made mint tea. These delicious treats are enjoyed while overlooking the amazing lake of Asni Ouirgane with magnificent views over mount Toubkal and the mountains.
