Had an incredible afternoon walking tour with Emre! He is extremely knowledgeable, clear, and genuinely kind. He even gave us a lovely postcard as a souvenir and provided excellent local restaurant recommendations. It was a shame that 'La Longue Traboule' was closed for maintenance, but Emre made sure we didn't miss out on the magic of Lyon's hidden passages. Highly recommend his tour if you are in Lyon!

“Very worth it!”

This was our first free walking tour so we were a bit skeptical while booking. Emre however, was a very knowledgeable and professional guide while still having a very good connection with our quite small group. He went through both Lyons history with a vast silk industry, the vibrant food culture and being a part of the Roman Empire as well as its darker past with mass executions during the French Revolution and the famous Traboules which where used by the resistance against the German occupation in the Second World War. He also gave recommendations for bars and restaurants after the tour. Great if you don’t have a lot of time on your hands but still want to get a good sense of the city!

Was glad to join this 14:00 tour as we couldn't make the other ones in the morning. Small group, which is a plus. Good that we started with a walk up the hill (a bit towards Croix Rousse) for a view of the city. Later Emre took us towards the busier streets and the hidden alleys ????
