This is a Walking tour in Spanish and English language. You will find out about Liverpool's early history and transition over the centuries from a town to a borough and, finally, to a city. From our start point, we will head to the Cavern Quarter, where you will get a review of The Beatles and the emblematic place that saw them grow, the famous Cavern Club. We will go down to Pier Head, discovering the beautiful Three Graces and the official Beatles statues. We will discover the Royal Albert Dock and learn all about its history. We cover all its history related to the Atlantic Slave Trade, World War II, economic breakdowns, and more. “Good but could be better”
With small changes it could be so much better. More snippets of facts, quite a few were wrong, than history tour of the city. The guide was personable but not hugely knowledgeable and got facts wrong I.e. world war 1 was won in the sky called the battle of Britain (that was WW2), also said that the only slave museum was in Liverpool bit we've been 2 1 in hometown and 1 in stonetown, was heavily focused on music and the beatles but not why we picked this tour. It was entertaining, not very history orientated and some facts were dubious but all in all quite engaging.
Advice, have a 10 to 15 break around Royal Albert Docks where people can grab refreshments and keep the energy going.

Se nota que le gusta explicar la historia de la ciudad y aprendes detalles que si fueras en solitario desconocerías por completo.

Ian is a very knowledgeable host and I really enjoyed the history, covering a bit of everything, from the rise and economic fall, to the present day, with some songs and of course Liverpool’s famous music scene. Robert Downs seems to be quite informed, funny. He told many stories and anecdotes that were sometimes hard to tell apart, to see the connection between them. The pictures he showed sometimes were held up for too short a time to make out what their point was. Altogether a worthwhile tour. Thank you for the experience.

“Too big a group”
We have visited many cities and have used similar guides on dozens of occasions.
The group we had in Liverpool was simply too big (27 people) and the non-use of a microphone and loudspeaker by the guide made it very difficult to hear much of what he was saying.
