In El Alto, we explore its streets and commercial life, talking about work, small businesses and the role the city plays in the wider metropolitan area. We also visit an area where Aymara spiritual practitioners work. Here we introduce the Aymara worldview and explain the role of coca leaves, offerings and beliefs that remain part of urban life today. This is not just about seeing attractions.
