Join our exciting tour and discover the vibrant center of La Paz! We will start at a local market and walk through the historic streets with iconic buildings. We can finish in a cozy cafe after visiting the main points of interest. Do not miss it.
This walk is something I used to do with relatives and friends visiting La Paz for the first time. If it's early, we start with a local breakfast at a local market that is unique in La Paz. Then, we walk through some of the main avenues downtown to reach the old part where important government buildings are located.
We review a bit of the history of each and some more recent historical marks left on some of them. Then we reach the museum street, the only old street remaining in La Paz.
After that, we cross to the most popular place downtown, where the San Francisco church is located. We "climb" to the witches market, and the tour can end at a good local coffee place, where specialty coffee is served.
