Itinerary (Flexible Schedule) Stop 1: Hoan Kiem Lake (30 minutes) Experience the vibrant local culture as you observe residents engaging in activities like badminton, morning exercises, and social gatherings. Stop 2: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (1 hour) Explore a peaceful, traffic-free area featuring botanical gardens, monuments, memorials, and pagodas. Within this complex, you’ll find Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the historic One Pillar Pagoda. Stop 3: Temple of Literature (1 hour) Originally built in 1070 as Vietnam’s first university, this well-preserved temple honors Confucius, scholars, and sages. Admire its stunning traditional Vietnamese architecture. Stop 4: Hoa Lo Prison (1 hour) Learn about Vietnam’s fight for independence from France through compelling exhibits detailing the prison’s history up to the mid-1950s. Important Notes: Please wear appropriate attire (no tank tops or shorts above the knee) when visiting spiritual sites such as pagodas, temples, the Temple of Literature, and the Ho Chi Minh Complex. The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is open from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM and closed on Mondays and Fridays.
