My name is Vivi, and I’m a Certified Hiking Guide (GAE). I was born in Catania 39 years ago; the historic center of Catania was literally my cradle, where I grew up surrounded by street food and the early days of the city’s renowned nightlife. My passion for my beautiful city took shape as early as my teenage years, when I studied Cultural Heritage at the Art Institute, where I learned about and sketched nearly every corner of Catania’s Baroque architecture. Today, after years of training and experience—including time abroad—I am an Environmental and Hiking Guide and a Sommelier, specializing in sharing and showcasing the incredible wonders of Sicily, particularly the Etna region. The goal of my tours is to experience the region holistically, exploring key sites and uncovering its hidden gems off the beaten path, with a focus on being as eco-sustainable as possible and seeking out authentic adventures and experiences.
