Roman Heritage of Braga: Self-Guided Exploration Game

This is a self-guided exploration game crafted by a passionate local storyteller and played on the streets of the ancient city Braga. You'll explore across 12 iconic locations while experiencing its vibrant atmosphere and learning about its heritage. At each location, you'll be solving a real-world puzzle by searching for clues on various elements such as monuments, graffiti, and facades. The game is mainly focused around the historic streets and landmarks of Braga and includes many historical facts and local myths about the city's origin, the Roman Domus and Roman traditions. Starting from the old town, the stops are spaced an average of around 200m apart, with each location taking around 7 min to complete. The route also passes through Roman Thermae of Maximinus, Rua da Violinha, and Balneário Pré-Romano de Bracara. At every stop, the app unlocks a new chapter and guides people to the next location.
