Great tour! Learned so much about Guatemalan street food. Who knew there was so much variety? Klaudia was great, provided excellent explanations of everything, the food, but also related traditions. Route was well organized with frequent stops to show and explain items as well as stops to buy and eat (if we wanted). Would highly recommend.

“Delicious Learning Experience!”
Klaudia is such a passionate and fun guide. Unlike the quite expensive food tours offered by various providers, this tour provides all the knowledge and experience and the choice to buy what intrigues you. Our group was small - only four participants and Klaudia - which helped us weave through the streets of Antigua and listen to Klaudia's explanations. I would have never tried most - if not all! - of the foods without this tour. We learned about so many different options, even if we couldn't try them all (the stomach only stretches so much!). I am not much of a foodie, but this tour is a must-do. I'm excited to continue my exploration of street food in other cities with the knowledge from this tour!

We were a small group which was just perfect to stroll around the narrow streets. Klaudia explained us a lot and always gave us the option to try the food or not, as we preferred.

Great tour! I was a bit skeptical, because this was an unknown platform for me, but the tour worked out great. We had a small group of 5 people and had the chance to try a bunch of different street foods. There was no pressure to purchase at any of the spots. Klaudia is an enthusiastic and energetic guide. This was a great way to see a bit of more authentic Guatemalan cuisine. 10/10!

“Authentic street food experience in a very small group”
The tour is supposed to be just 2 people. But I asked the tour guide, Klaudia, if I could bring my wife along and she happily agreed. It was a very good experience because of the small group. We stopped by a few places to try food, e.g. dobladas, chocolate fruits, local fruits etc. Klaudia wasn't pushy about us eating or not at specific places. She was very patient with our questions, introduced us to the shops outside of the very touristy areas, told us about local culture e.g. people buying tortillas outside the fried chicken restaurants, local variety of tacos and hotdogs. There are very few vegetarian options in Guatemala in general so the experience was similar on this tour but she still tried to find a few options. She ended the tour at the weekend street food market at Iglesias de la Merced which was very nice. She even followed up with a summary of the places after the tour, over email, which was very thoughtful. I'd definitely recommend this tour, especially on a weekend.

“Amazing and insightful”
Klaudia provided so much wonderful information. I was the only one who showed up but that didn't stop her from running the tour and giving it her best. It was one of the best tours I've had and I learned a ton not only about Guatemalan street food but also about the culture. She knows a ton and was able to answer all my questions (not limited to those about food) but about politics and the culture. She was also extremely punctual, great at communication, and such a kind, sweet soul. If you get the chance, I highly highly recommend her tour. It was one of my highlight experiences in Antigua.

This is such a great thing to do early in your visit to Antigua. The tour runs on the weekend because that’s when the street food, in its full variety, is most available. I learned loads about the area and local culture through the food too. Klaudia has been thoughtful in the vendors she chooses and the option to buy food from each vendor or just learn is great. I have many more things to try now! My advice is bring a tote bag, or like me you’ll want to buy things to take with you, but be quite loaded up by the end! Loved it.

Authentic Street tour was a great introduction to the different kinds of street foods that could be found in Antigua during the Semana Santa. Klaudia did an excellent job describing the types of food we would encounter, the contents and how prepared, and how Guatemalans typically would have that food, snacks vs meals, She was very thorough in answering questions and also engaged us and made the tour very interactive as she also asked us questions regarding street foods and customs in our country. Would highly recommend.

“Good introduction to street food”
Now I know what to choose when wondering in the streets seeing all the street food stalls. The people in our group took turns buying some of the foods Klaudia introduced us to and we "shared " which allowed us to taste the different items. From the prominent role of frutas in their diet to Guatemalan enchiladas, (different than the mexican foods of the same name) tostadas, shucos, xecas, galettas, .... The tour also gave me a better idea of the prices to expect when ordering on my own. Klaudia was a good guide. The limitations of her english were compensated by her enthusiasm. I enjoyed the tour.
