Alfredo was a really great tour guide. He’s a history buff, so if you want to know the history of Antigua, you need to pick him. He was very organized and is a natural leader. He did a great job of orienting us to the city, pointing out museums and restaurants he recommended, and showing us where some top sights anre. And the best part was that I could hear him. Some tour guides aren’t loud enough and I miss things. I highly recommend him.

“Walking Tour of Anyigua”
Gracias Alfredo ! Mucho gusto. The walk was a nice length of time allowing you to cover the main highlights of this hermosa ciudad, beautiful city. Abandoned for over 100 years and since much but not fully restored, the ruins are a powerful reminder of the 1773 earthquake. Along with the backdrop of 3 volcanoes , this city is a cobblestone beauty. Thank you for the informative walkabout, I recommend this guided walk for anyone looking to be introduced to Antigua.

“Good for a first introduction to the city”
The tour was well organised. You find Alfredo pretty easy on the main square of the park.
He provided us with some information about the history of the former Guatemalan capital, some churches around town and other important buildings around town. He showed us some tiny details as well on the tour.
For my taste it was a bit to much commercial though, since most of the places he stopped at besides the historic buildings seemed to be restaurants and places to buy alcohol.
