In the city center walk, they are shown mainly places, and they are told stories that they cannot be found in guidebooks or discovered easily. We speak also about how the city started, about some of its main monuments, about the contemporary life in the city, and many other stories that they hide behind buildings and walls. We walk very slowly, we make many stops, and we realize that Thessaloniki is not what it is showing but what it is hiding. In the end, many recommendations are given about food and hidden gems. The tour was really nice and followed some of the popular monuments in Thessaloniki. Giorgios was a fantastic guide. He was funny and light and made the 2:30 hour tour pass in a blink. The tour was accompnied by historical facts with a homorous spin. Plus Giorgios made sure that most long stops were sited. inlighting fact were shared even why Niki is Niki! but if you want to know you will need to take the tour.
For sure we will be back to Thessaloniki and take the tour with Giorgios
