Dimitra is a lovely and fun tour guide! She knows a lot about the history of Thessaloniki and she also made the tour engaging and interesting. Don’t hesitate to book a tour with her! Just bring a hat and comfortable shoes, because the Upper Town is uphill.

Excellent tour! Visiting the upper town of Thessaloniki with Dimitra was among the best experiences during our stay. She was very fun and enthusiastic and of course knowledgeable about the history of the city that she explained in a very simple way, easily to understand by anyone. We explored some hidden gems, had amazing views, some surprises and were really lucky to spend the morning with her.

Honestly, if you're coming to Thessaloniki, you have to do Dimitra's tour. She was just exceptional and incredibly friendly, and her energy transformed what could've been just a history lesson into this captivating adventure. It felt less like a tour and more like she was giving us a personal "crash course" on the city she clearly loves. We started right in the city center, and it was fascinating to dive into ancient Greece, hear about the legendary Philip II and Alexander the Great, and how Cassander actually started Thessaloniki, naming it after Alexander's own sister – such a cool detail! Then, we moved upwards, seamlessly traveling through the Byzantine and Ottoman eras, right up to modern times. Dimitra was brilliant at showing us how so many different religions and cultures co-existed here. She even respectfully covered the heavier parts of history like the World Wars and the Holocaust, making sure we understood their impact. What really stood out was Dimitra's enthusiasm – it was absolutely infectious! You're soaking up so much history, but you never feel overwhelmed, not for a single second. I won't spill any of the wonderful surprises because you deserve to experience them firsthand, but seriously, you'll be completely absorbed. I can't recommend this tour enough!

We spent 2 hours in the tour and learned everything about the history of the city, the culture and the everyday life. Additionally we left with some really nice recommendations and the best impression for the tour and our sweet and knowledgeable guide!

We were lucky enough to be part of Dimitri's first walking tour in Thessaloniki and we had a great time. She was very friendly, fun and welcoming. She showed us the upper part of the city and gave a lot of insight information about history, culture, Greek tradition. We enjoyed the tour very much and had some meze afterwards in a restaurant Dimitria recommended. It was delicious.

Dimitras tour was really entertaining and she took us to some places we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. We liked the viewpoints and the historical facts which she explained in a fun way. We got glimpses of Greek culture and we even danced a bit.
