We pass the oldest bookshop in Austria and make our way to University Square (with an exciting architectural surprise). Via a secret path, we end up at modern art, which has made it into the local vernacular. This is not to be the last, somewhat hidden, work of art on our tour. What would Salzburg be without its large squares and churches? We pass the most important ones and learn all kinds of interesting facts. We end the tour where we started it, at the statue of St. Florian.
