The free night tour of Imperial Rome will take you through almost 1000 years of history, from the origins of Roman civilization to the empire's fall. We will talk about its founder, its kings, and its emperors, and the many stories that make Rome the Eternal City. We will meet at the monument's entrance to Victorio Emanuel; from there, we will begin our way to the Capitoline Hill to appreciate the Capitoline Museums and the replica statue of La Loba; later, we will see the best viewpoint in the city. The perspective of the Roman Forum, where we will talk about how many of the decisions made there still influence our lives today. Later, we will visit the Imperial Forums, where we will talk about Julius Caesar, Augustus Octavian, Trajan, Nerva, and many more emperors without failing to appreciate the majestic Basilica of Maxentius, the largest temple built in the 4th century. Once our tour of the Forums is over, we will sit in front of the iconic monument of the empire, The Colosseum.
