The tour starts at the ruins of the Roman Arena embracing the Scrovegni Chapel, cradle of Giotto's famous masterpiece. We will then dive into the crowded open market in the middle-aged heart of the city, visiting the three beautiful squares surrounding the stunning Palazzo della Ragione (Palace of Justice). A special coffee at the neoclassical cafè Pedrocchi will follow, after which we will pay a visit to the University, one of the oldest in the world. The final part of the visit will include the Basilica of Saint Anthony and the majestic Prato della Valle, one of the largest squares in Europe. Note: if you want to visit the Basilica inside, make sure you are properly dressed (no shorts, no mini-skirts, etc.).
